AI Agents, EF Core, and Blazor
This edition covers Dapr microservices, Cosmos AI agents, Blazor interfaces, EF Core pitfalls, JsonPath, GitHub tokens, and API guidance.
Jasen's top three picks
- 1 Getting Started With Dapr for Building Cloud-Native Microservices in .NET
Medium - Anton Martyniuk
A practical starting point for evaluating Dapr’s building blocks before committing to a microservice architecture.
- 2 From an Empty Folder to an AI Agent: Meet create-cosmos-agent
Microsoft Dev Blogs - Sajeetharan Sinnathurai
Scaffolding is valuable when it accounts for the storage and operational questions that follow a basic agent demo.
- 3 Control Concurrent AI Requests Without Overloading Your .NET App
C# Corner - Ranknod
Concurrency limits are essential when AI calls can exhaust application capacity or downstream service quotas.
Editor's note
I pulled together a deliberately broad mix, from Dapr-based microservices to practical EF Core troubleshooting. The C# 14 array.Contains() regression is a useful reminder to test framework upgrades against real query translation. I also included the Cosmos agent scaffold because it tackles the less glamorous project concerns that appear after a chat endpoint works.
